Chimney Rock Winery was established in 1980 by Hack and Stella Wilson, who brought their love of wine and South African winery architecture to the Napa Valley. Located along the winding Silverado Trail the estate is at the heart of Napa Valley’s prestigious Stags Leap District– home to some of the most elegant Cabernet Sauvignon produced on American soil. The Terlato family purchased Chimney Rock Winery in 2004. Since the acquisition the family has built on and advanced the quality of every aspect of the estate and its wines, working hand-in-hand with the winemaking team to elevate Chimney Rock to its highest potential.

Chimney Rock focuses on intelligent and sustainable farming and grape growing along with a soft-handed and thoughtful approach to winemaking led by Winemaker, Elizabeth Vianna. Striving to allow the unique and magnificent Stags Leap District soil and fruit to show themselves in their best light, Vianna produces wines that are both powerful and elegant. Through this thoughtful and sustainable approach, the estate has a reputation for consistently crafting unique wines of exceptional quality that show a true sense of place.
