“Château Pontet-Canet dates back to the beginning of the 18th Century and was classified a Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Since its creation, only three families have owned this illustrious property.  Today, its proud owners are Alfred Tesseron and his children Justine and Noé, and his two nieces Mélanie and Philippine.

Alfred has been running the estate for the past twenty years alongside his Régisseur, Jean-Michel Comme ; and from 2015 with his daughter Justine. They work the vineyard like a vegetable garden, respecting the natural rhythm of the seasons while maximising the potential of its terroir without the use of pesticides.  The vines have benefited from this natural harmony, producing wines which display precision, purity and character. From 2010, the entire vineyard of Pontet-Canet has been certified organic and biodynamic.”
