Château Pontet-Canet dates back to the beginning of the 18th Century and was classified a Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Since its creation, only three families have owned this illustrious property. Today, its proud owners are Alfred Tesseron, his two children, Justine and Noé, and his nieces Mélanie and Philippine. Alfred has been running the estate alongside Justine and his technical director, Mathieu Bessonnet. They work the vineyard like a vegetable garden, respecting the natural rhythm of the seasons while maximizing the potential of its terroir without the use of pesticides. The vines have benefited from this natural harmony, producing wines which display precision, purity, and character. From 2010, the entire vineyard of Pontet-Canet is certified organic and biodynamic
