Château Pontet-Canet dates back to the beginning of the 18th Century and was classified as a Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Since its creation, only three families have owned this illustrious property.  Alfred Tesseron and his two nieces, Mélanie and Philippine, are today its proud owners.  Alfred has been in charge of running the estate for the past twenty years alongside his Régisseur, Jean Michel Comme and his niece, Melanie Tesseron since 2005.  They work their vineyard as if it were a vegetable garden, respecting the natural rhythm of the seasons whilst maximizing the potential of its terroir without the use of pesticides. The vines have benefited from this natural harmony producing wines which display precision, purity and character.
