Björnson Vineyard, owned by Mark and Pattie Björnson since 2006, is located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. They produce exceptional, sustainably grown wines, with a focus on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Auxerrois, and Grüner Veltliner. The 107-acre property features LIVE-certified vineyards, reflecting a dedication to environmental stewardship and careful site selection, resulting in expressive wines that capture the unique character of their volcanic soils and cool climate.
The vineyard is planted with 28 acres of vines on volcanic (Jory/Nekia) soils ranging in elevation from 450-550 feet.. At Björnson Vineyard their priorities are simple: Care for the Land, Make Exceptional Wine, and Enjoy Life’s Journey. They support these goals by utilizing renewable energy and farming sustainably to promote ecological balance in the vineyard, surrounding creeks, and woodlands. Their wine is made in small lots with minimal handling.
