Situated at the foot of storied Atlas Peak in Napa Valley, Seven Apart is a testament to vision and tenacity. Our distinct winery emerges from the volcanic terroir of Stags Ridge Vineyard. Guided by founder Don Dady’s passion for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and inspired by his principle to find “seven things to set one apart,” their wines turn extreme mountain fruit into wines with remarkable depth and complexity. At the Base Camp cellar, deft winemaker Morgan Maureze crafts a high-touch range of four unique Cabernet Sauvignons: Expedition, Shale, Basalt, and Summit. The goal is to push this vineyard to the limit and to produce the most exciting wine possible. This truly is Napa At Its Peak.
Famed Winemaker Andy Erickson joined the team after tenure at Screaming Eagle, Harlan Estate, Staglin Family Vineyard and Ovid. He continues to consult for other celebrated brands including Dalla Valle, Mayacamas Vineyards, To Kalon Vineyard Company, Arietta, Ellman Family Vineyards and Cervantes. He and Annie, a viticulturist, launched their own labels Favia Wines and Leviathan, in 2001 & 2003 respectively.
