After moving to DC almost 2 decades ago, Mick Perrigo has wandered through the Food & Beverage Industry, finally finding his calling as a Mixologist.

Mick’s first big break was working at the original Passenger with Tom & Derek Brown. His tutelage there was with Alex Bookless Turner and the Brown brothers. As a result of his work with them, Mick has developed successful beverage programs for several restaurants and lounges.

He has helmed the bar at many top Cocktail Destinations such as L’Annexe, Left Door, El Camino, Hogo, The Passenger, Columbia Room. The mentors who inspired his love of Mixology also sparked a passion to keep developing, creating & teaching. In order to fulfill all those passions, Mick is now the Specialty Beverage Program Manager at Pirate Ventures and is housed at The National Union Building, in the heart of D.C. He creates cocktails for all the Pirate Venture venues, and teaches through Cocktail Club, a 16-seat cocktail experience like no other.
