He constructed, from the roots up, a state-of-the-art winery and brought together the best technology and winemakers to bring to light wines that would be a true expression of this significant terroir. The belief in the best fruit produces the best wine; is the fundamental principle of the Tolaini estate. Tolaini epitomizes the concept of âfamily businessâ and today Pier Luigiâs daughter, Lia Tolaini-Banville, is running the estate and preserving her fatherâs legacy while bringing new ideas and innovation, all while honoring the distinct terroir of Castelnuovo Berardenga.

Artisans and Vines was founded in 2009 by two former Country Vintner pioneers, as an import marketing company focusing on European wines from France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Portugal and Italy. More recently the portfolio has grown to include new world wines from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, California, Oregon and New York. The portfolio has been built by passionate professionals with decades of experience who seek terroir-oriented wines from around the world. Eric Platt, former US sales director for Pacific Prime Wines became the managing partner and assumed the role as president and sales director for Artisans & Vines. Eric has a substantial 25+ year history in the fine wine industry including stints in retail, wholesale and importing. His wholesale experience started with the Milton Kronheim Company in 1987 as a sales representative in the Washington, DC metropolitan market. Subsequent positions include working with Robert âBobbyâ Kacher Selections as Midwest and Eastern Regional Manager. Eric consequently developed the territory into the lead US markets for this exclusive French wine portfolio. As Vice President/Director of Sales for Robert Whale Selections, Eric managed the national sales of Australia and New Zealand wines realizing extensive national sales growth during his tenure. Starting in 2008-2011, his career returned to wholesale directing the fine wine and spirits division of Washington Wholesale Liquor Company/Pinnacle House, a division of Charmer-Sunbelt. In his new role with Artisans & Vines, Ericâs primary goal has been to expand the distribution footprint of the company and the focus of the portfolio.

Jimi dedicated himself to holistic farming and winemaking in Willamette Valley with a focus on biodynamic Pinot Noir, Riesling, and other aromatic whites at affordable prices – wine for the people.

Childhood friends Vicente Pliego and Hugo Del Pozzo founded their winery with a simple but ambitious purpose: to produce some of the best wines in the world. Every step of PINEAâs winemaking process is anchored by passionate viticulture (organic, bio-dynamic) and attention to detail to allow the fruit be the star. PINEA wines represent the perfect confluence of elements in the highest elevations of the Ribera del Duero; chalky lime soils, gentle slopes with nearly 360-degree exposition, and daunting weather with seasonal extremes ranging from cold snowy winters to very hot summer days.  Deeply structured rooting systems allow for vines to overcome the elements without artificial irrigation and the fruit benefits from common 40-degree diurnal nocturnal temperature shifts. The hard work in viticulture, artistry in winemaking, and patient aging reaches its causa est when our patrons place a glass of PINEA wine under their nose and introduce it to their palate. Telmo RodrĂguez founded Bodega Lanzaga in 1998 and opened his winery in 2009 in the village of Lanciego, located in the subzone of Rioja Alavesa. At the heart of Bodega Lanzaga is its connection to history and place, working only with head-trained, old-vine, and organically-farmed vineyards in and around the villages of Lanciego (population: 650) and Labastida (population: 1,500). Telmoâs methods are at once ancient and innovative; by returning to an old style of farming and winemaking, heâs pushing forward winemaking in Rioja. CorazĂłn del Sol is a pioneer of the Argentinaâs Rhone movement and family grower-producer of single-parcel Malbec from the ancient riverbeds of Los Chacayes IG within the high-elevation Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina.
The Vineyards of Corazon Del Sol are located at the base of the Andes Mountains. This small region of Argentina is known for growing quality vines and producing the best wines in the country. Across our 17 acres they have planted a variety of Rhône and Bordeaux grapes including Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre. Each of their three vineyards are planted on different soil types, which allows them to explore the different textures and complexities imparted by each one. These soils give low yields, but high flavor concentration. At 3,600 ft above sea level, the vines enjoy an almost extreme elevation that contributes a beautiful natural acidity to our complex, delicate wines. Rainfall between 250 and 300mm per year allows us to farm organically and results in optimal health in our vineyards.
Dr. Madaiah Revana, founder and sole proprietor, balances a successful practice as a cardiologist in Houston, Texas with his commitment to Revana Family Vineyard. His desire to take on an additional career making Cabernet Sauvignon is rooted in his Indian Heritage, passion for both wine, and the rich tradition and culture of winemaking. Dr. Revana joins a small circle of vintners with wineries in multiple, critically-acclaimed wine regions, including Bernard Arnault of LVMH, the Antinori family, and Joseph Drouhin.
First introduced to fine wine by friends, he quickly became fascinated with Bordeauxâs first growths. That fascination led to the Cabernet Sauvignon based wines of Napa Valley, Pinot Noir of the Willamette Valley, and the Malbec, Bordeaux Varietals, and Rhone Varietals of the Uco Valley.
Dr. Revana dedicated himself to learning all he could about his new interest. He traveled the wine regions of Europe and the United States, learning along the way, and he became determined to create a vineyard estate from which he could craft his own world-class wines. Revana Family Vineyard was born of that determination. Today, he is the only immigrant from India to own three wineries that have all been featured on Top 100 lists and are highly acclaimed.
