Born in 1976 in Bordeaux, David grew up in the vineyard of Bordeaux and used to play in the barrel cellars of schoolmates parents properties.
During his law and communication studies in Bordeaux, the virus of cooking and wine loving did strike and the passion for Grands Crus took the lead of his career. After setting down in London (UK) for 5 years, mainly in the wine distribution business and after passing WSET examinations, he went back to his origins with his growing family. After eight years as commercial director of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, the father of two decided to join the Château Guiraud, 1st classified growth in 1855, as brand ambassador, to share his passion for this great property with wine lovers and professionals.
The history, the organic management of the vineyard and the exceptional quality of the two sweet wines produced (Château Guiraud, the Grand Vin, and Le Petit Guiraud, the second wine) make the estate very distinctive. The Château also produces a dry white Bordeaux called “G de Guiraud”.
