Saturday begins with a virtual tour of Bordeaux, including a unique wine tasting of the 2010 vintage. The adventure continues with exciting seminars and food prepared by some of the nation’s top chefs, making Heart’s Delight the place to discover the latest in epicurean trends and new talent. Guests will also enjoy wine from the world’s best vineyards as well as the opportunity to bid on exclusive travel packages, dining experiences and rare and exceptional wines during the spirited silent and live auctions.

Formal Bordeaux Tasting
A formal seated tasting of the 2010 vintage and an older vintage of the winemaker’s choosing. Château owners and directors will also be on hand to discuss their wines. The tasting will be led by Le Figaro's Bernard Burtschy, Ph.D.
4:30 – 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.

Cooking Class by L'Academie de Cuisine
L’Academie De Cuisine is the premiere culinary school in the Washington, DC area. Come watch and learn from cooking demonstrations by Chef François Dionot, Owner and Director of L’Academie de Cuisine and Chef Patrice Olivon, instructor at L’Academie de Cuisine. At 4:30 p.m., Chef Dionot will prepare Seared Sea Scallop on Green Lentils with a Wild Mushroom Emulsion; at 5:30 p.m., Chef Olivon will prepare Fresh Crabcake with a Sweet Corn Salsa and Crepes with Sauteed Pears
Styling Champagne: Learn about the different styles of Champagne from Vintage Bubbly to Fruity Rosé
Champagne Henriot was founded in Reims, France in 1808 and is one of the last family owned champagne houses. Champagne Henriot is known for their rich, elegant house style. Join Champagne Henriot to learn about the different styles of champagne: Brut, Blanc de Blancs, Rosé and Vintage. They will share the finer points on the different styles, what pairs best with each one, how they age over time and when to drink them. Featuring: Champagne Henriot Brut Souverain, Champagne Henriot Brut Rosé, Champagne Henriot Blanc de Blancs, Champagne Henriot Brut Millésime 2005.
