Philippe Dhalluin began his career in Peruin 1982 as winemaker in the Tacama Winery.
In 1985 he returned to Bordeaux where he was appointed Director of Château Beaumont, a250 acre Cru Bourgeois in Medoc. Then, from 1988 to 2003, he ran Château Branaire-Ducru (cru classé) in Saint-Julien.
In 2003, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild hired him as Pauillac Estates Winemaker and Managing Director of Baron Philippe de Rothschild Company.
Nowadays, he has the responsibility for all the Châteaux of the Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, that is to say in Pauillac: Châteaux Mouton Rothschild, d’Armailhac and Clerc Milon, but also Domaine de Baron’Arques in Languedoc, as well as, through joint ventures, Almaviva in Chile and Opus One in California.
Since July 1, 2010 he has been nominated Chairman of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild Board of Directors.
