Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I wanted to be a football coach until I was about 17 then I fell in love with the restaurant business and my path

A: Walking into the kitchen first thing in the morning, and it being closed properly and just enjoying a cup of coffee

Juniper combines premier ingredients and technique to create comforting, yet inventive cuisine in a setting that is both modern and welcoming. Inspired by Chef/Partner Nicholas Yanes’ travels throughout Northern Italy, Juniper works to serve the freshest ingredients at its prime, while letting simplicity reign.
In preparation for it’s October 2015 opening Yanes spent time in the Northern Italian regions of Piedmont, Lombardi and Emilia-Romagna. Using notes from his travels, Juniper’s strives to connect the northern regions of Italy as well as other adjoining areas with Central Texas.
